Two dogs named Marlie and Cam.

Ms. Huskins retired from McDowell County Local Government with 30 years of service in the Recreation Department as the Assistant Director and then Director. She has two grown children, Tyler and Sommer.

She will be a Grandmother for the first time in September to a little boy, whose name will be Decklin Lee. She is absolutely blessed to have the opportunity to work at Williams Academy. She has never been involved with a school where every teacher and staff puts the students first and truly cares about their education and future.

The mission of Williams Academy is to offer a stable, emotionally supportive, educational environment for children with a goal of empowering each child to achieve his or her real academic and social potential.
