Let us introduce you to Mr. Gus Pederson! Mr. Gus is the 4th and 5th grade Math and Science teacher. He loves to teach hands-on and whenever he has the opportunity, takes the kids to non-traditional places such as playground and the main office to demonstrate math concepts. Mr. Gus has been with Williams Academy for 3 years. When asked what his favorite part of his job is he says, “The students and learning their passions in order to guide them to be the best version of themselves.” He is an avid soccer player and in his spare time, he helps coach the Appalachian Football Club and the Lees-McRae men’s soccer team.
